The children had to draw a picture to illustrate this poem.
What My
Dragon Likes
BY GREG
O’CONNELL
What my
dragon likes for breakfast,
The
minute that it wakes,
Is a bowl
of battery acid,
And a
stack of T-
bone
steaks.
What my
dragon likes for supper,
The final
thing at night,
Is a drum
of oil, a sack of coal,
And a
stick of dynamite.
What my
dragon likes in summer
Is to
join the picnic scene
And speed
up every barbecue
With a
breath like gasoline.
What my
dragon likes in winter
Is to end
each chilly day
With a
mouthful of explosives
And a
fireworks display
Julia's winning picture. |
