Our Paper Mache Puppets

We have been making paper mache puppets.  First we had to blow up a balloon, then we had to put 3 layers of paper mache on it, then we had to put on the features, two more layers of paper mache and then we painted on the features and put hair on.  We then decorated the puppet dresses.  We love our puppets and are learning how to use them.

Freeville School June 2013

As part of our Legacy Inquiry we made a video to put in our Time Capsule.  It is a longish video and now we know all the places, shown on it, because we go to Freeville School. In 50 years time this may bring back memories of that time. The children did all the filming.

Thank you from Parent to Parent for our donation in 2012

Last year through our Inquiry we raised some money for Autism Canterbury.  We sent off a cheque which then had to be made out to Parent to Parent Canterbury as they look after them.  Here is the thank you card that we got. 

Autistic Association

Last year as part of our Inquiry about how we could make a difference, we raised money for the Autistic Association. This is the letter we got back.
