Foil birds

We made some foil birds at school today.  It was challenging but we did finish some of them.

The Taniwha

We wrote this story as a class. We changed it to make it more interesting.

Once upon a time there was a Taniwha.	Once upon a time there was a magic Taniwha.
He lived far away in the oceans near Wellington.	Far away in the salty oceans near Wellington he swarm backwards.
He had a happy life.	Singing with a mumbling voice he did somersaults.
The water started sinking into the ground.	People were draining and sucking up the water to put in tanks in an aquarium.
He felt scared.	Confused and furious he struggled to move.
He moved to a different ocean.	At last he found his way to the peaceful Cook Islands.

MI Time

We made a chocolate cake as part of MI time.  We decided to share it with other classes rather than eating it ourselves.  We gave some to Danielles class, there was still some left.  We gave some to Anne's class there was still some left.  We gave some to those  people who made it and there was still some left. We had some in our class and there was still some left.  We had four pieces left so four people had to give it to someone else on their way home.  At least that is what was supposed to happen.  We are learning to do things for other people.

Flower power

Mrs Q and Kym gave us the ideas to make these powerful flowers.

Sock puppets

We had lots of fun making these sock pupperts.  First we had to decide what our favourite animal was, we then had to find a picture of it on the i pads, draw it and plan what it would look like.  We then made it.

Undie Art

Crew 3 read a story about a frog who lost his undies.  All the other frogs were fighting over them so the jungle animals decided to make all the frogs some undies.  If you could have any undies in the world to show off your personality, what would they be like?

We think our undies are the best!
