Willowbank Visit.

Thank you to Metal Craft and Sara and Nathan for the wonderful visit to Willowbank.  The children had so many favourites.  The eel feeding was one of them! A big thank you to those who came along with us.

Nathan's AAL

Wow Nathan, you told us so much about bull riding! We had no idea you could even do this! Here are some pictures of Nathan's AAL, with a movie we will add later.

We wrote about Ronald MacDonald's visit.

Today Ronald MacDonald came to my school.  He was funny and delightful and we giggled.  So noisy.  So I said “Hi how are you?”  But before I was going to say it someone was talking.  He sang Make It Click! song.  My Mum sang it when she was little.  He told us a story it was fantastic.  I loved it.

Today Ronald MacDonald came to our school.  He taught us road safety and car safety and he also bought a song.  It told us kids what to do in the car.  He looked hilarious because he had stripy clothes on.  He also brought a story.  It was about his sock.  It was funny.

Today Ronald MacDonald came to our school.  He looked weird. He made me laugh.  The other kids thought that he looked funny.  Then he left.  We felt sad.  He forgot his stuff

Why are you so hot?  When I look at you my eyes get scorched.  I love the sun because I get to go out to the fantastic and amazing beach.  I miss you when the rain comes.  You look exciting at sun set and sunrise.

You are blazing hot with no sun the world would be ice.  You are a ball of gas.  There would be no plants if you weren’t.  It would be freezing and dark and there would be thousands of clouds.  Sun you are so bright and if you weren’t here there would be no trees.  You are hotter than lava.

You burn my eyes when I look at you.  My eyes turn to fried eggs.  And in Fiji I got sun burnt because of you.  At Lake Hood I got sun burnt again but that was because I forgot to put sun block on.

I like you because when you shine I go to the beach and have a swim and go boggy boarding.  I get a Mr Whippy ice cream.  Thank you sun.

The rain feels like a bucket of water fell on me.  The rain smells like me. The rain looks like wet bullets shooting out of the sky.  Today and yesterday it is raining. Today it is alright later, no rain, no matter.  My blue water ring controls the sea and rain.  The grass is wet.
