More Heavy Metal - Personification Writing
Her jagged teeth are reaching to pick up rocks. Her cumbersome toes are
working like a rocket, zooming around the hockey field. Her body is
dancing around the place, digging and scratching, banging everywhere!
You can hear her at the door whining to get in.
Casey
His sturdy body crushed, munched, and destroyed piles of rocks and turned them into dust. The dirt came out from the long dirty arm. The feet were two feet long and baby blue. The feet are so prickly they look like a hedgehog. His body looks like a rectangle with robot writing.
Luke
His arm pounded the rock with his big strong rusty hand. His massive feet moved through the strong mud. His sturdy arm smashes the boulders, bricks, and stone. His stomach is hot. His sharp fingers dig up stone and dirt. The trees get destroyed from his steel fist. His eyesight is as good as an eagle.
Ollie
His sharp claw smashed in the earth.
His metal arm scraped the concrete.
His jagged teeth picked up rocks.
His massive arm pulled the tree away from the ground
Aaron
His sharp teeth crushed the ground.
He lifted the rocks with his claws, like hands.
He had scratches on his teeth.
He is a mean destroyer.
His powerful arms were dirty.
By Rory
His arms were smashing the heavy boulders. His legs were crashing and stomping over stones. His chest is chomping and pounding the earth. His feet were snapping the humongous stones. The head of the gigantic thing was wrecking houses and damaging buildings. His knees were pounding the grass in seconds. His elbows were destroying playgrounds.
Brodie
Her arms keep pounding the concrete.
Her feet kept rusting as she rumbled past the broken buildings.
Her rusty hand dug into the bottom of the earth.
Her teeth kept crunching.
She kept on eating until it was all rubble.
By Jayme
Her jagged teeth ate the floor.
I hear her neck at the door.
Her eye is small but tough.
Her arm is big and rough.
She picks up wire and a tyre and then she finished.
She threw it all away and said,
"I will see you another day".
Izobella
Her sharp shiny teeth are grabbing metal. She is crushing the wheel and smashing rocks. The rusty wheel rolled away down the hill, striking stones. They started sinking at the bottom of the hill and then started getting bigger and bigger.

Praciticing Personification - Heavy Metal!
Her claws snipped, snipped my fingers off.
She looks like she has got a
arm beside her face.
She can blink about 1 000 000 times a minute.
She has
her name on her t-shirt.
And she lives on a rocky volcano.
Emma
Her fist destroyed the building.
Her arm goes round, round, and round.
Her
wrecking ball is pounding the dirt.
She loves trashing the place.
Her
wrecking ball swings and swings through the sky.
She is crying.
Her arm
is as tall as a skyscraper.
She is lonely.
She zig zags through the
dirt.
She is the ultimate crusher.
She rolls through fences.
Buildings
crack, cars get smashed, and roads crumble.
She makes earthquakes.
The
light makes her work.
Her face doesn't smile.
She frowns.
Noah
Her sturdy body looks best for her. Her body is orange, bluey silvery, and
white. Her jagged teeth bite the ground. Her feet are round and huge. Her
arm is long and slim and on her neck says her name like a tatoo.
Kate
The Machine
Her huge long arm started to reach as long as it could go. Her blue body started to smash the building as hard as she could. She loved smashing the enormous, old building that took too long to crush. Once she finished smashing the building, she wanted to smash it again.

Ashleigh
It started smashing concrete. Bang, smash, oww. Right at that moment it hit a human. He was knocked unconscious. Guess he shouldn't have been playing in that area. It's jagged teeth looked like it was eating itself. It's engine was like a dying predator. It's feet are steady and chained.

Maths Lately
We have been learning about patterning. This helps us later to see how numbers are predictable through the patterns they make.

Gaudi Houses
Happy Birthday to Antoni Gaudi - 161 years old last week. He came from Spain. In maths, we are focusing on Algebra. We made repeating patterns and then shaped them into the types of buildings that Gaudi designed and made.

The new knee
Out of hospital and thinking of you all and missing being at school. Very very slow and reminding myself that it will get better. Did this on piccollage and have been playing with the ipad. Lots of good ideas for when I get back. I hope that you are all looking after Tania and Mrs Q. Tania has been telling me about all the exciting things you are doing at school, I really liked the emotion picture in the hall drawings. Not long until the holidays.
