Our Ice and Gymnastic Writing

Ice.
I heard wet, solid, cold, frozen frosty ice.
I heard people splashing in puddles.
I saw rain falling down from the sky.
I felt freezing, wintery, numb and cold.
I felt like I was going to die.
I wondered if it was going to snow.
I wondered if it would be nicer tomorrow.

Ice.
I heard the ice crack, water came out.
I heard people having fun.
I saw the frozen ice. I stepped on it.  I started to dance.
I felt cold and wet.
I felt it make me slide down the little hill.
If wondered if I would get sick.
I wondered if I would do a back flip.

Ice.
I heard loud noises from children.
I heard cracking ice.
I saw my feet on solid ice.
I felt nervous I was going to slip.
I felt so warm.
I felt I was on fire.
I wondered why people didn’t slip.
I wondered if it will snow tomorrow.

Gymnastics.
I heard kids puffing.
I heard kids talking.
I saw little kids running.
I felt puffed.
I felt hot.
I wondered why we were bouncing.
I wondered why there was new stuff.

Gymnastics.
I heard noisy children.
I heard teachers telling kids what to do.
I saw colourful things.
I felt extremely hot.
I felt we were in a very noisy place.
I wondered what we would do next time.
I wondered if we would have the same teachers next time.
By Lewis

Gymnastics.
I heard laughing.
I saw kids sweating.
I felt tired and hot.
I was bouncing all the time.
I heard kids saying “I’m tired”.
I wondered  when it was going to end.
I felt sleepy inside.
I wonder how people can do all this stuff, its boiling.
Finally gymnastics was over.

Ice.
I heard ice shattering like shiny glass.
I heard people yelling and screaming like a tiger.
I saw people sliding fast like soft soap.
I felt warm and numb.
I felt like sliding as well.
I wondered why aren’t they getting wet?
I wondered why is it slippery on the concrete?
By Ollie

Gymnastics
I heard a THUD!!!
I heard kids laughing like drunk people.
I saw kind kids jumping up and down.
I felt hot like it was thirty degrees.
I felt like I was in a pit full of fire.
I wondered when will we ever leave this gym?
I wondered how long have we been here.
By Ollie

Ice.
I heard shattering ice breaking apart.
I heard screaming people getting stuck.
I saw the world was frozen all over the place.
I felt cold, my hands were blue.
I felt chilly.
I wondered if the world would be frozen, it was white all over the place.
I wondered what was coming next.

Julia's cross country

My Cross Country

On Wednesday 21 May Year 4 to 1 did cross country.  I saw my sister running across the finish line. I clapped and cheered and also my Mum did.  Mum said it was my turn now.  I felt a bit nervous.  Before we ran we did warm ups with Mrs Q.  We did the running 3 2 1 “Clap!”  I ran.  I couldn’t catch up.  One person was right behind me.  I ran like a light bulb.  I ran between Myliah.  We were next to each other.  I ran in front of her.  I had Charlotte to go.  I was puffed.  I ran fast and went in front of her too.  I was in the lead.  I was proud of myself.  I ran all the way to the gates.  I looked behind myself.  I saw no one. I was pleased with myself. I said in my head, I am going to win, when I was getting my yellow block.  It was second time around.  I ran all the way to the gate again.  I got my second green block.  I was at the finishing line.  I was thinking I am going to be first.  I came first place!  Charlotte was second and Izabella came third place.  I did well. I was in the lead most of the way.
